I hope you’re all well & enjoying the sunshine we’re having at the moment. It’s much better than snow & ice isn’t it?
I know I didn’t visit my blog in January & I must apologise for that. With creating some new designs, photographing etc, the time just passed me by.
Following on from the success of my dainty seed bead bracelets, I’ve been making some dainty bracelets using small semi precious gemstones & Sterling Silver beads. So you’ll start to see more of them appearing here.
As always, thank you for reading my blog & if you have any queries, suggestions, anything, please let me know it’s always lovely to hear from you.
I’m going to keep this really brief & I just wanted to let you know of one important change to the last order date for Christmas.
The last order date is 16th December 2018 & this will leave me enough time to post all your orders out to you so that, according to Royal Mail, you’ll receive them before Christmas.
Thank you again for your continued support throughout 2018 & I wish you & all of your loved ones a very Merry Christmas & a Happy & Healthy New Year.
Lynne 🙂 x
How are your Christmas preparations going? Me? I’m not at all ready so I have so much left to do.
I appreciate everyone is so super busy at the moment, so I’ll just quickly let you know what’s happening on my website.
The developers have added a new function – the ability to create a Wish List. If you login to the site then you’ll be able to add any products you like to your Wish List & then of course delete any if you change your mind later.
From there, you have the ability to add any of the items straight to your basket if you wish to do so.
So, I’ll leave it at for now & once again, thank you for reading my blog.

Today I’m talking from a very chilly Birmingham. What’s the weather like where you live?
So, forgetting the warm coats, hats & gloves for a moment, oh & don’t forget your umbrellas, the CRAFTfest Christmas Village is now open.
Some of you will know that I’m a member of The Professional Crafters Guild & every year in the run up to Christmas they organise an online Christmas market event called CRAFTfest which usually runs during one weekend in early December.
However this year, there’s a change which means that it’s running from now until early January 2019. So you’ll have more time to decide exactly what it is that you’d like to buy that special someone in your life. Perhaps you’ll be buying gifts for work colleagues, Secret Santa, or your next door neighbours too?
We’re not even leaving your pets out, so maybe you’ll find something for them too.
Within CRAFTfest Village you’ll find no end of high quality unique gift ideas & don’t forget gifts for pets. So you may even be able to do all the shopping you haven’t already done, right there in your favourite chair/sofa with a cup of tea or coffee & stay lovely & warm.
Some handmade crafters including me are offering discounts too! So what could be better?
My discount code until January is FESTIVE15 so don’t forget to use it as I can’t apply it after your order has been placed. This discount won’t apply to specially commissioned items & can’t be used in conjunction with any other discount offer.
As always I do reserve the right to end this offer early if I need to. Although, at the moment, this isn’t my plan to do so.
I know how super busy you all are at the moment, so I’ll leave it there for now. Happy Shopping!
Thank you again for reading my blog.

Winner of Best Fashion Jewellery Designer 2018 – West Midlands
I’m so super excited I’ve had to share this with you.
I was approached a couple of months ago to enter a Small Business Award. Naturally I was surprised & so agreed (never thinking that I could possibly win).
Today I received an email from them & hardly dared open it to be honest.
Can you imagine my sheer delight to have been awarded the winner in the Best Fashion Jewellery Designer 2018 – West Midlands?
As always, I’m adding to my new designs all the time, but if you’d like something special or a little bit different then just contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org & I’ll be happy to help.
Here’s a couple of new designs I have to show you.
I hope you’ve had a good start to Autumn.
Thanks again for looking.
Lynne 🙂 x
It’s almost the end of September & still we’re having beautiful blue skies & sunshine. OK I know we’ve had a little rain but we have needed some haven’t we?
Today I’ve just sent this month’s newsletter to those who have signed up to receive it.
In there I mentioned that next month (October) I’ll be giving an exclusive discount code for Black Friday in November. Of course this is only for those signed up, so if you’d like to receive ongoing news about new designs & discounts, all you need to do is to sign up for my newsletter.
Today, I’ve added the Christmas posting dates (I know I know) so if you’d like to keep checking the dates, you can either bookmark the page or copy & paste it to your own device. As always I’ve taken this information from the official Royal Mail’s website.
Here’s a sneak peek at just a couple of my latest designs
Thanks again for visiting my blog.
Lynne 🙂 x
Well the children are back at school & dare I say that we’ll be doing our Christmas shopping soon. The Christmas cards were in the shops before we’d even finished Summer weren’t they?
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to stop the Weekly Offers promotions. Why? Well it became sort of obvious to me that I might not be choosing quite the ‘right’ items each week.
OK so what are you doing now I hear you say. Well in it’s place I’ve decided to issue a newsletter once a month to those who have signed up, on my Home Page 2/3rds of the way down, where there’s details of new designs & sometimes a discount code for you to use for a short period.
There’s also now an option for you to set up an account so that you can see all of your orders. This is at the top of my Home page.
So, if you’d like to sign up, it’s on my Home page as I say.
For now, this is one of my latest design using genuine Malachite Semi Precious Gemstones.
If you have any comments, please let me know & I’ll be happy to listen. Thanks again as always, Lynne 🙂 x
WOW isn’t this just the best Summer we’ve had in a long while? I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine. 🙂
I have a couple of things to share with you & the first is that my web company have given me a brand new design. It’s taking me a while to get used to it, but it’s only been a few days & I think you might agree that it’s a lot more modern & ‘clean’ looking.
It’s also completely responsive so it doesn’t matter what model of mobile or tablet you use my site will now automatically re-size itself to give you a better experience.
I hope you like it.
The second piece of news I have is that I’ve changed Weekly Offers to Special Offers so that will now cover all types of offers in one place.
Today I’ve set up a discount of 10% off all my 2018 Pantone Colour items. This is an automatic discount so you don’t have to do anything. Just add the item(s) to your cart & that’s it. Easy eh? Don’t miss out though, it ends at Midnight on Monday 16th July.
If you try to order something before Midnight next Monday & it’s out of stock don’t worry, just send me an email & I’ll do the rest (apart from Unique items).
Here’s a little taste of a couple of items from this collection
Well, I’m away for a few days, so I hope you continue to enjoy this lovely weather.
Thanks again & take care
Are you all enjoying this lovely weather we’ve been having? It’s so pretty seeing all the plants come alive.
This is the first time in about 3 weeks that I’ve changed the weekly offer items & I do apologise for that. It’s been quite a time here due to illness, family commitments, annual accounts & of course the new GDPR data protection regulation & all of the extra work that entailed.
Hopefully now everything will slot back in to place & we’ll get back to normal.
I’ve now selected some items for this weeks offers & I hope that you will find something you like.
Here’s a little taste & you can find all of this week’s reductions here.
As always, if you have any questions, just contact me & I’ll be happy to help.
Enjoy looking & thanks again for reading my blog. Lynne 🙂
Well we’re almost at the end of April, so do you think we might see the end of April Showers? It’s a dull & rainy day here at Silver Sensations Jewellery I’m afraid.
So I thought this week I’d offer some Bridal & Pearl items to receive 10% discount.
As always, here’s a little taste for you & you’ll find more here Weekly Offers
I hope you enjoy your weekend & thank you for looking.
Lynne 🙂 x
Well, if you’re like me & were expecting a little better weather, why not cheer yourself up with 10% off all my jewellery until Midnight 23rd April?
With St George’s Day next Monday, what better time to save a little on upcoming Birthday gifts or a cheeky little gift for yourself.
My jewellery ranges from tiny seed bead friendship bracelets & anklets through to elegant pearls & Wedding designs with lots in between.
This discount is automatic so you don’t need any codes & will be applied at checkout.
It won’t be used in conjunction with any other discount nor specially commissioned items.
Happy shopping & thanks for looking.
Some of you may have heard or seen in the media & others may not have, so I’m just going to give a very brief outline of this new Regulation which comes into effect on 25th May 2018 & affects all EU member states.
Although we are going through the process of leaving the EU, we will still be a member state when this Regulation comes in to force. Once we leave the EU we will still need to abide by it.
Please note that this will not be a guideline where companies choose whether or not they adopt the Regulation, it will be LAW.
What does it mean for Silver Sensations Jewellery Customers?
1) Well, it means that unless you’ve physically signed up to a newsletter, companies will no longer be able to send you these type of emails. Of course this could be good news for you as it will mean that you should no longer receive emails you don’t want to read.
For me, this means that I’m only allowed to send newsletters to Customers who have actually signed up to receive them. If you’d like to sign up to be notified personally of special offers and/or new products then you can do so on my Home Page where you’ll see a banner just underneath the ‘Featured Products’ area. Naturally you can withdraw this consent at anytime & you’ll receive no further newsletters from me.
This is an area, where I have actually neglected to send out newsletters over the last couple of years mainly due to a lot of serious family illnesses.
Now I intend to send out a newsletter each time I have a promotion and/or a range of new products. In any event, I won’t send them out more regularly than one every month or two as I appreciate how annoying they can become if they’re sent too often.
2) The second thing I just want to briefly touch on is that, as I always have, companies must ensure that your information is:
- Processed lawfully, fairly and transparently.
- Collected only for specific legitimate purposes.
- Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary.
- Must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Stored only as long as is necessary.
- Ensure appropriate security, integrity and confidentiality.
For you this means that I will continue to only use your name & address to send your order to you & a couple of emails to let you know the status of your order. I NEVER HAVE & NEVER WILL PASS ON OR SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE ELSE, UNLESS REQUIRED TO DO SO BY A LEGAL AUTHORITY. To me, your information is STRICTLY PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL & that’s how it should be.
I think it’s worth a little reminder here, that I have absolutely no knowledge or access of/to your bank account or bank card information etc. The only information I receive is that you have made a payment for your order & its source, eg Paypal or Klarna.
I know this may be quite a lot to take in but actually, the only change for my Customers & me here, is the one regarding newsletters as mentioned in 1) above.
Thank you for taking the time to read this & I just wanted to let you know how seriously I’m taking this new Regulation.
Have a great weekend
How is everyone feeling now that we’re in April? I’m starting to hope that Spring really is just around the corner (fingers crossed).
I hope you find a little treat for yourself or an early gift for a loved one.
Thanks for looking as always.
Brrrrr it’s certainly cold outside, but the weather forecasters have promised warmer weather by the end of this week so fingers crossed….
I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted for a while but my Mum’s been in hospital for a month & she’s now getting nearer to being discharged which is a huge relief.
OK so this week’s offers are now live with a mix of earrings, bracelets, necklaces & you’ll also find an anklet in there too for a little boho chic.
I hope you see something you like & you’ll find them all here
As always if there’s anything special you’d like me to make for you just contact me (email@example.com) & I’ll be happy to help design something with you.
Here’s a couple of items on offer this week & as always thank you for looking.
Have a great week. Lynne 🙂 x
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas & enjoying the start of a brand new year.
From now, 13th January, until Midnight 14th/15th February I’ve set up an automatic discount of 15% off all of my heart jewellery, pink jewellery & red jewellery.
So there’s quite a lot for you to choose from whether it be a gift for a loved one or a well deserved gift for yourself.
You may find something for your Mum on Mother’s Day.
All of these pieces of jewellery will revert to their original prices at 0:05am on 15th February.
If you have any questions, I’m always happy to help.
Lynne 🙂 x
Happy New Year
I hope it’s a happy & healthy one for you.
Is it new year, new you?
This is the first weekly discount of 2018 & I hope you find something you like.
Here’s a little taste of what’s on offer this week & you’ll find more here
Enjoy the rest of your week
Thanks again for looking
Well it’s almost Christmas & I’m sure you’ve all been busy trying to squeeze shopping in to your busy lives.
That’s why, instead of a weekly offer, I’ve chosen to have 10% off every piece of my handmade jewellery right up until the end of December.
The discount is automatic so you don’t need to worry about entering a code. However it can’t be used in conjunction with any other discount code you may have.
This discount also applies to my Clearance section.
If you like something & find that it’s out of stock, please do get in touch with me as I may be able to make another one.
Thank you to everyone who has bought items from me throughout the year & of course in the past. Every customer is special to me & I thank you for choosing Silver Sensations for that special gift, bridal jewellery & where you’ve bought a treat for yourself.
That just leaves me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a happy & healthy New Year.
Lynne 🙂 xx
Well they say that we’re going to have some snow tomorrow, so why not take advantage of this week’s offers which are now live. This week there’s bracelets, earrings & necklaces in a range of design & prices. You’ll find them all here
Here’s a couple which are on offer this week:
Have a great week
Brrrr it’s certainly very cold outside isn’t it?
So why not shop online in the warm this weekend for our Christmas CRAFTfest shopping event. It’s the last one for this year & you’ll find all of the wonderful crafters & artisans who are taking part here.
As always, the event is sponsored by the Professional Crafters Guild of which I’m a proud to be a Sapphire member.
We’d love it if you popped along & saw us on Twitter by using the hashtag #craftfest or on Facebook here.
Of course as always some have discounts running just for this weekend. You may just find that unique gift you’re looking for.
Mine is CRAFT15 so make sure, if you’re buying something from me this weekend, you use this discount code. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount codes which may be available, but IS available on Clearance items. The free standard UK post also still applies.
Hope to see you there.
Well it’s 00:25am & I’m still busy working. 🙂
I’ve just added the Royal Mail’s recommended last posting dates for Christmas & thought I’d share it with you.
If anyone wants to copy or print it, please do.
Anyway here it is https://www.silver-sensations.co.uk/christmas-posting-dates-49-w.asp
Hope you all have a great week.
